INNOVATION CAMP in Cultural and Creative Industries

Junior Achievement Cyprus, the Cyprus National Commission for UNESCO, and the UNESCO Associated Schools Network in Cyprus co-organize an Innovation Camp in Cultural and Creative Industries, on Wednesday 16 November 2022, 08:30-18:30, at PANOS SOLOMONIDES Cultural Center in Limassol.

During the Innovation Camp, students come together to tackle a business challenge related to the Cultural and Creative Industries and propose ideas to address it. They explore relevant resources and information, utilizing digital tools, and develop their proposal, under the guidance of professionals in the field of culture and entrepreneurship. The best proposals will be awarded by a jury and will participate in special cultural experiences.

During the Innovation Camp, students have the opportunity to develop creative and innovative thinking, and strengthen communication and entrepreneurial skills, through teamwork and problem-solving, while addressing challenges in the field of culture. The camp will be supported by mentors active in the field of culture and the business community of Cyprus, who will work with students and provide guidance in developing their ideas and presentations. While students develop their ideas, the teachers accompanying them will have the opportunity to participate in a workshop facilitated by educators in the Cyprus Theatre Museum.
