New cycle, Broader topic: Applications open for Beyond Pre-Accelerator 2024-2025
The Beyond Pre – Accelerator programme, organized by Junior Achievement Europe and Cyprus, begins renewed for yet another year and is now open to young people. This year, Beyond Pre-Accelerator opens its theme to innovations in all health sectors. We accept applications until October 20th by students who want to propose solutions in areas related to health, such as Prevention, Early Diagnosis, Treatment, Rehabilitation, Data Collection and Analysis, Psychological Support, Reintegration, Palliative Care and Research.
Beyond Pre-Accelerator is an educational and practical programme that guides participants to develop their own business solutions in the health sector, going as far as creating a product in its simplest form (Minimum Viable Product). The Beyond Pre-Accelerator lasts five months and is divided into three phases:
- The Educational Phase
- The Test and Development Phase
- The Demo Day – Finals
The launch of the educational phase will take place with the two-day “Innovation Days (i-Days)” which is supported by Novartis Cyprus, EIT Health and the Research and Innovation Foundation. The intensive two-day event will take place at the Cleopatra Hotel in Nicosia with free overnight stay, 1-2 November 2024. The winning team of i-Days 2024 will travel to Budapest, Hungary to compete with all national winners across the continent and represent Cyprus in a high-level European competition!
The knowledge, experiences and skills they will acquire through Beyond are countless, since at the end of this programme participants will receive:
- Possibility of travelling to, Hungary (i-Days European Finale), Bulgaria (Bulgarian Beyond Demo Day) and Greece (Gen-E).
- Continuous support and guidance from experienced professionals who act as mentors.
- Seminars on specialized topics by experts.
- Access to the online platform of the programme with rich educational material covering contemporary issues of entrepreneurship and innovation.
