Junior Achievement Cyprus: Student entrepreneurship Opening of applications for the programmes
There’s never a perfect moment to start a company, but university life offers an incredible opportunity to gain entrepreneurial experience through educational programmes. University years can be a crucial time for students to explore their interests, build networks, broaden their perspectives, and take risks — all essential ingredients for business success.
Junior Achievement Cyprus (JA Cyprus) is excited to announce the launch of this year’s JA StartUp Programme, which empowers students to develop and run their own businesses while honing skills that will benefit them throughout their careers. This hands-on programme allows students to immerse themselves in the world of entrepreneurship, working under real-life conditions to create, manage, and grow their own companies.
Offered free of charge to students from all universities in Cyprus, the JA StartUp Programme runs annually, with over 20,000 participants across Europe.
Programme Highlights:
- Compete in the National Competition, where the top six teams will pitch their business ideas to a live audience and panel of judges.
- The winning team will represent Cyprus at Gen-E 2025, Europe’s largest entrepreneurship event, held this year in Athens, Greece.
- Gain access to expert mentorship, rich educational resources, and networking opportunities.
- Receive full business education, participate in webinars led by industry experts, and compete for significant prizes.
The programme is supported by ASBIS, MetLife and the Research and Innovation Foundation.
