Why bring JA into your class?
Ongoing Learning
Our programmes are meant to supplement the curriculum that students are already learning within the class. We offer a diverse and hands-on programming that keeps students engaged while still educating about entrepreneurship, financial literacy and work readiness.
Easy Implementation
Our programmes are flexible in their delivery methods. Depending on which programme you choose for your class, you can engage in a programme that runs over the course of 12-26 weeks (JA Company Programme), 3-6 weeks (JA More than Money, Our Community, Economics for Success, Sci-Tech Challenge) or a one-day event (JA Innovation Camp & Entrepreneurship Day in Second Chance Schools). You can also have a fully virtual experience for your students if you choose Girls Go Circular.
University professor can bring JA StartUp and Beyond Pre-Accelerator to their classes and watch how their students develop their entrepreneurial and innovation skills during the programmes.
Measurable Impact
A recent survey contacted by JA Cyprus with the support of PwC found out that 9 out of 10 students who participated in the Company Programme would recommend it to their friends. The survey also revealed that 95% of the students improved their communication and teamworking skills, while 70% reported that they developed their entrepreneurial skills. Amazing 60% of the students wish to continue their journey in entrepreneurship, thus the programme improved their entrepreneurial intentions.

«The participation of students in the program gave them the opportunity to go beyond the school’s horizon, discover their talents and develop as personalities. Through the well-designed procedures of Junior Achievement Cyprus, students learned to operate efficiently within a team, to take initiatives, to express themselves confidently to large audiences, to respond successfully to specialized evaluation committees and to make effective use of both existing and new knowledge in a new environment for them»

«I believe that the student entrepreneurship program organized by JA Cyprus is one of the most important non-teaching activities I participated in within the school environment. This program helps students get in touch with the real world and test their business skills in a protected environment. Through their efforts they discover the strengths and weaknesses of the team but much more important of themselves. My own students mentioned too many times that they did not believe how much they could achieve by discovering themselves. Seeing your students mature and improve, each in a different field, is the biggest benefit for me running this program and is what keeps me going despite the difficulties we face and the hours we dedicate.»

‘Students who participate in the Company Program definitely understand and experience how the business world works. They realize that success comes with hard work, determination and ethos. This journey gives the students the skills and confidence to move forward in life and go after their dreams’
