Junior Achievement Cyprus travels to Europe
The winning teams of JA Cyprus competitions are leaving today, Monday, July 11, 2022 to Estonia. Our teams ‘Nutrica Plus’, ‘Kolokasi Delicacies’, ‘Diligens’, ‘CiPen’ and ‘Coalfee’ together with our organisation representatives will be travelling to Tallinn, Estonia today on the occasion of the GEN-E Entrepreneurship Festival.
Gen-E is a celebration of entrepreneurship and the achievements of European students, where thousands of young entrepreneurs, 15 years old onwards, will showcase their cutting–edge business ideas and will be competing for the titles of best Company and best Start-Up of the year.
This year, Gen-E 2022 final event is hosted in Tallinn by JA Estonia from 12 until 14 July 2022.
This year’s national winners of the Company programme “Nutrica Plus” and the winners of the StartUp programme “Kolokasi Delicacies” will have the opportunity to compete in their categories with the respective winners from the rest of the European countries, claiming the first place and many other prizes and distinctions.
The “Diligens” team is traveling to Estonia as a prize for participating in the Virtual Trade Fare held as part of the GEN-E 2022 Festival and winning the “Novartis Digital Health Innovation” Award.
Our teams “CiPen” and “Coalfee” winning teams of the past JA Cyprus competitions are also participating in the mission since they were deprived of their prize due to the restrictive measures that had been implemented due to the covid pandemic.
It is our ultimate pleasure that after two years we will participate again in person in this hugely important European Festival of Entrepreneurship, which gives our young men and women the unique opportunity to broaden their horizons, to face new challenges and access great opportunities.
We wish our competing teams the best of luck and we hope that all participants will get the most out of it.
The Organization expresses its thanks to the partners of the programs, PwC Cyprus, Astrobank, Novartis Cyprus, Asbis, the University of Nicosia and the Research and Innovation Foundation.
