Elementary and high school students exhibit their environmental innovations
mindREset Trade Fair of Junior Achievement Cyprus
Junior Achievement Cyprus announces the organisation of the mindREset Trade Fair on the weekend of November 26 – 27 at the Metropolis Mall of Larnaca. The Trade Fair is being held for the first time while the program is being implemented for the second year with excellent success and results.
Talented student entrepreneurs, aged 10-14, from all over Cyprus will have the opportunity to participate in an entrepreneurship celebration where innovation, creativity, and the youthful spirit will have a dominant position. A total of 2,500 students are participating in the programme.
During the two days, the participants will present their innovative products and services in specially designed stands representing more than 60 student companies. A specialized jury will evaluate the students’ environmental ideas as well as the quality of each team’s stand. This evaluation will significantly determine the selection of the ten best companies that will have the opportunity to present their ideas at the annual mindREsetters of the Year Competition on December 16, 2022. The ten finalist student companies will be announced on November 30.
mindREset is a fun and interactive programme that offers 5 courses to students of 5th and 6th grade of Primary School and 1st and 2nd grade of Gymnasium. Junior Achievement Cyprus in collaboration with Lidl Cyprus implements the programme free of charge in public and private schools throughout Cyprus. The programme is approved by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, and Youth. The programme modules aim to bring students into contact with the field of environmental entrepreneurship and help them develop skills that will contribute to the protection and sustainability of the environment.
