Health Innovation Day by Junior Achievement Cyprus

Junior Achievement Cyprus organises for the fourth consecutive year the EIT Health i-Days 2025 in Cyprus. The Innovation Days (i-Days) promote innovation in health among university students, through dozens of one-day and two-day programs taking place across Europe in October and November 2025.

i-Days in Cyprus focuses on the challenges faced by the health sector. Thus, the two-day challenge will highlight innovation in areas such as Prevention, Early Diagnosis, Treatment, Rehabilitation, Data Collection and Analysis, Psychological Support, Reintegration, Palliative Care and Research.

During the i-Days, students form multidisciplinary teams in order to address real health challenges.

JA Cyprus invites students to participate in an intensive two-day event on 1–2 November 2025 at the Cleopatra Hotel in Nicosia, with a free overnight stay (For the overnight stay, priority will be given to participants residing outside Nicosia).

Guided by experts and mentors from the business and healthcare worlds, participants express  their ideas and propose their solutions to a distinguished panel of judges.

Within the framework of this intensive two-day course, students of all levels (Bachelor’s, Master’s, Doctorate) are guided through the programme in order to develop their own business ideas in the health sector, up to the creation of a business plan. The winning team of i-Days 2025 will travel to Paris, France to compete with all the national winners in Europe and represent Cyprus in a high-level European competition!

The knowledge, experiences and skills they will acquire through i-days are countless, since at the end of this program, students:

  • They will acquire entrepreneurial skills by working in a team and develop a sustainable solution, which they will present on stage.
  • They will acquire the necessary tools to innovate with the help of experts from the Business and Health industries.
  • They will transform the healthcare industry by bringing solutions to the challenges that exist today.
  • They will share the experience with participants from different disciplines and backgrounds.
  • They will join the JA and EIT alumni networks, and gain access to exclusive opportunities.

Participants will also have the opportunity to develop their idea through the JA StartUp Programme and claim their participation in a trip to Riga, Latvia.
