Junior Achievement Cyprus Organizes the 2nd Bi-Communal Innovation Camp
Junior Achievement Cyprus is organizing the 2nd Bi-communal Innovation Camp on Friday, 9 October 2015 at the University of Nicosia.
The Innovation Camp is a knowledge-intensive experience that brings together Greek-Cypriot and Turkish-Cypriot students with the aim of engaging them in entrepreneurial and collaboration techniques. The event aims at encouraging young people to use their skills in enterprising and innovative ways, ultimately increasing their employability and entrepreneurial flair.
During this one-day event, Greek-Cypriot and Turkish-Cypriot students, aged 15-18, from private high schools from all over Cyprus, will be asked to join forces in order to find the answer to a unique business challenge. Working in groups of 4-5, students will be given only 4 hours to collectively shape their ideas, while they will be required to collaborate with other students whom they have not met before. At the end of the day, all teams will present their solutions in front of a panel of experts.
