JA StartUp FINAL AND AWARD CEREMONY

Junior Achievement Cyprus (JA Cyprus), dedicated to promoting business ideas and promoting innovation, organizes for the fifth year the Final and the Award Ceremony of the “JA StartUp 2025” programme. With a firm commitment to empowering young entrepreneurs, this event is the culmination of the efforts of students aged 18-30, offering an excellent opportunity to present and showcase their entrepreneurial skills.

Through these two programmes, JA Cyprus not only cultivates the spirit of innovation, but also transfers essential business knowledge and practical skills to the participants. The Final and Award Ceremony mark a defining moment for these young entrepreneurs, as they recognise their hard work, determination and creative thinking. By celebrating their achievements, JA Cyprus inspires the next generation of leaders and businesses, while at the same time shaping an environment that promotes business excellence and growth in Cyprus.

The Final will take place on Tuesday, 11 March 2025 between the hours of 14:00 – 17:30 at the ASBIS TECH CLUSTER in Limassol (Iapetou 1 4101, Ag. Athanasios). The event is open to the public by booking a seat at the link HERE until 09/03/2025.

During the event, six teams will have the opportunity to present their innovative business ideas on stage and be evaluated by a Jury through interviews. All teams submitted their commercial video and business plan, which were carefully reviewed and evaluated by the Jury to determine the six finalists. It is worth noting that one of the six teams secured their place in the final through the Online Voting Challenge for the best video.

The StartUp programme offers students the opportunity to create their own business, helping them discover how they can use their talents to establish and develop business ideas. Through the programme, they gain valuable experience in the world of business: from finding innovative ideas and writing a business plan to taking full responsibility for the operation of their business. At the same time,  cultivate skills and attitudes necessary for their personal development, their professional rehabilitation and their substantial understanding of business activity.

The team that won the Online Voting Challenge is Hair Tracker.

 

The winning team will represent Cyprus in the JA Europe European Competition, GEN-E 2025, to be held in July in Athens, Greece.
