JA Cyprus has launched the first ever Bi-Communal Innovation Camp

On the 24th of October, 50 Greek Cypriot and 50 Turkish Cypriot high school students were gathered up in the University of Nicosia for a day of creativity and fun, where they were requested to find an innovative business solution to a challenge faced by the fragile identity of our island.

This is a JA Cyprus’ competition through which young people develop and present innovative ideas, offering them the opportunity to test and cultivate their entrepreneurial skills as well as built bridges of constructive co-operation. The challenge is an intense educational and practical experience for students, since they have to work together to propose a solution within very limited time. It helps develop their creativity, confidence and team-building skills, and provides a link between the classroom and real-life business application.
