The Girls Who Lead project aims to empower young girls, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds, to develop the necessary skills to become future leaders and entrepreneurs in a constantly evolving Europe.

Objectives

The project aims to develop a comprehensive empowerment framework that supports young girls in cultivating leadership, digital, green, entrepreneurial, and socio-emotional skills. At the same time, it encourages them to lead projects with social impact and to act as role models for other girls.
This framework promotes inclusion and diversity, strengthens active civic participation and social entrepreneurship, enhances employability, and contributes to reducing the gender gap in leadership, particularly in the fields of business, technology, and decision-making.

Activities

Development of an innovative leadership programme using non-formal and experiential learning methods.
Creation of a Mentors’ Guide and gamified learning tools (escape rooms).
Development of an Artificial Intelligence toolkit to enhance leadership skills.
Organization of a social impact initiative led by girls.
Organization of an international forum in Latvia for the presentation of results and the exchange of best practices.
