Company Programme Teacher Training

Teachers from both public and private high schools, as well as vocational schools, interested in taking part in the “Company Programme”, are offered the opportunity to attend three informative training seminars on youth entrepreneurship.

The first seminar took place on Friday, 25 September 2015 at the University of Nicosia. Teachers received detailed information on the aims, learning outcomes and benefits of the “Company Programme”, and were provided with important guidelines concerning student preparation, actions and the necessary steps to take part in the Company of the Year Competition. Teachers had the opportunity to exchange views and ideas, gain fundamental entrepreneurial knowledge and skills through utilizing the Business Model Canvas. They were informed in detail about the Competition’s three stages, evaluation criteria as well as the awards for which they will compete. Finally, they took part in a constructive needs assessment workshop – an initiative of the Cyprus Pedagogical Institute.

The next two seminars will take place in December 2015 and March 2016 in both Nicosia and Limassol.
