4th Trade Fair of the mindREset Programmeme of the Cyprus Junior Achievement Organization
Green Innovation in action by students aged 10-14: Creating Innovative Solutions for a Sustainable Future
Junior Achievement Cyprus announces the holding of the 4th Trade Fair of the mindREset programmeme on the weekend of January 24 – 25 between the hours of 11am-3pm, at the Metropolis Mall of Larnaca (Larnaca). The Trade Fair is held for the fourth time, while the programmeme is being implemented for the fifth year with great success and results. In fact, this school year, mindREset was renewed and returned dynamically with a new theme. We move from the consequences of plastic in our lives, to the Conservation of Resources and specifically to Food Waste, maintaining our dedication to environmental well-being. We are not alone in this new path as we walk together with Lidl Cyprus for the careful management of resources.
The sponsor of the programmeme and strategic partner is Lidl Cyprus.
Talented student entrepreneurs, aged 10-14, from all over Cyprus will have the opportunity to participate in a business celebration where innovation, creativity and youthful spirit will have a dominant place. In total, more than 3600 students participate in the programme. 62 teams from 24 Schools (11 Primary and 13 Junior High Schools) are participating in the Trade Fair by taking part in the competition and the Trade Fair. The programme is implemented with the Institutional Cooperation of the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth and is under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment.
During the two days, the participants will present their innovative and green products and services in the specially designed stands where they will be evaluated by a specialized jury. The opportunity to present the products and services in front of a jury is excellent for gaining recognition and experience. The ten best companies will have the opportunity to present their ideas in the Annual Competition for the “mindREsetters of the Year” on February 13, 2026.
The event will be broadcast live on Mix FM, 102.3 FM.
The “mind REset” programme is a fun and interactive programme, offering a series of 5 lessons to students of the fifth and sixth grades of primary school and the first and second grades of high school. Junior Achievement Cyprus in collaboration with Lidl Cyprus implement the programme free of charge in public and private schools throughout Cyprus. The programme is approved by the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth. The modules of the programme aim to bring students into contact with the field of environmental entrepreneurship and help them develop skills that will contribute to the protection and preservation of the environment.
