Dr Alexandros Kakouris

University of Peloponnese and Hellenic Open University

Alexandros Kakouris, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in entrepreneurial learning and education at the Department of Management Science and Technology of the University of Peloponnese and at the Hellenic Open University. He holds PhD in Physics, PhD in Entrepreneurship and a MSc in Adult Education. His special interests concern: fostering entrepreneurship and innovation to science graduates, context-aware entrepreneurship, support of youth entrepreneurship through teaching and counselling as well as nascent entrepreneurship, transformative and experiential learning. He is on the editorial board of International Journal of Management Education (Elsevier).

Dr Despo Ktoridou

University of Nicosia

Professor Despo Ktoridou is the Head of the Department of Management.at the University of Nicosia in Cyprus. Despo is a Certified Engineer of the Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber (ETEK) and a member of IEEE, AIS and ACM Associations.  In the period 1993-1999 Despo worked as a Senior Computer Engineer for various organizations in Cyprus. In 1999 she entered academia, as an Assistant Professor of Educational Technologies until 2007.  In 2007, she was promoted to Associate Professor and in 2019, she was ranked as Professor. Her research focuses on the areas of ICT Integration in the Educational Practice; Technology and Innovation Management Pedagogies; and Open and Online Distance Learning Practices. She has presented and published papers, chaired Sessions, served as reviewer and member of the Program Committee for numerous refereed international conferences. She has contributed several chapters in books, served as a guest editor and reviewer and published several papers in refereed journals. She has also participated in EU and local funded programs and has been invited by foreign universities as a guest lecturer.

Professor Ktoridou completed her BSc. and MSc. of Science in Engineering, in the field of Computer Systems & Networks in the Engineering & Science Department of Saint Petersburg Electrotechnical University in Russia. Her PhD thesis title was 'Expert Systems in Education - Distance Learning Educational System for Early Childhood Education: Methods, Facilities and Means'.

Stelios Yiatros

Cyprus University of Technology

Dr Stelios Yiatros is an Associate Professor in Structural Engineering in the Department of Civil Engineering and Geomatics at the Cyprus University of Technology. Stelios was in the core team to lead the successful entry of the Cyprus University of Technology in the EIT Climate Knowledge and Innovation Community (KIC), and became the Education Lead for the local EIT Climate-KIC Hub, while being also one of the co-founders of Chrysalis LEAP, the first cleantech business idea accelerator in Cyprus. His involvement in Systems Innovation and Entrepreneurship has led to a successful bid to coordinate “Innovate EUt” of the EIT HEI Initiative call. Stelios holds a Master of Engineering in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Imperial College London (UK) and a PhD in nonlinear structural mechanics from the same university. He is a Member of the Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber (ETEK), Graduate Member of the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE), Associate Member of the American Association of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Chair of the Stability Committee of the ASCE Engineering Mechanics Institute, Member of the Leadership Council of the UN Sustainable Development Soluti
ons Network in Cyprus and National Representative at the CEN/TC350/SC1 for circular economy in the construction sector.

Antonia Christou

Cyprus University of Technology

Antonia Christou is coordinating the Innovation and Entrepreneurship activities at the Cyprus University of Technology for the EUt+ Alliance (Inno-EUt+). She is also a Trainer of the Climate Entrepreneurship Training at CUT. Additionally she is involved in areas such as Industry Collaboration and Technology Transfer for the EUt+ Alliance. Antonia is pursuing a PhD in Entrepreneurship Education. Before joining CUT and Inno-EUt+, Antonia was working in the Aerospace industry in France, Germany and Singapore, where she assumed the role of Innovation Manager, actively supporting entrepreneurs and startups through her involvement in the creation of an Industry 4.0 Accelerator program. Her dedication to fostering innovation also led her to serve as a Board Member of La French Tech Singapore during this period.
