Two different programmes are being implemented in\u00a0<\/span>primary and secondary education<span lang=\"en-US\">, namely \u2018<\/span>More than money<span lang=\"en-US\">\u2019<\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0<span lang=\"en-US\">\u2018<\/span>Economics for Success<span lang=\"en-US\">\u2019 accordingly<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Financial\u00a0literacy\u00a0<span lang=\"en-US\">prepares<\/span>\u00a0young people and guides them in developing a good consumer behavior. With the transition to adulthood, working life and the integration into society, this behavior becomes a way of life offering significant benefits both personally and socioeconomically.<\/p>\n<p>Mentors<span lang=\"en-US\">\u00a0coming from the banking and business sector<\/span>\u00a0also play a catalytic role in the success of these Program<span lang=\"en-US\">me<\/span>s. They\u00a0<span lang=\"en-US\">act as<\/span>\u00a0role model<span lang=\"en-US\">s<\/span>\u00a0for the\u00a0<span lang=\"en-US\">students<\/span>\u00a0and help them to understand financial concepts that prove to be very useful for the rest of their lives.<\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">Since 2015<\/span>, more than\u00a0<span lang=\"en-US\">4,000<\/span>\u00a0students across Cyprus have been trained in Primary and Secondary education. 165 teachers and 160 mentors have participated<span lang=\"en-US\">\u00a0and offered their knowledge and skills to develop students\u2019 both financial and soft skills<\/span>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you<span lang=\"en-US\">\u00a0are a Secondary Education teacher (Gymnasium) and you<\/span>\u00a0would like the program<span lang=\"en-US\">me<\/span> to be implemented in your school, you can register <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/1LU9DwuiF45DN_I576TSMNBC7k8GRvo44hXWYQa8P5mg\/edit?usp=sharing\">here<\/a>.
