ClimateLaunchpad is the world&#8217;s largest green business idea competition, with a mission to unlock the world&#8217;s clean tech potential that addresses climate change! It was yet another amazing experience for the team and at the same time an enormous opportunity to expose themselves and introduce their unique product to the world! Congratulations, GrowGreen! Carry on your journey stronger than ever!<\/p>\n<p>The Grand Final of\u00a0<strong>ClimateLaunchpad 2017<\/strong>\u00a0was carried out with great success on October 17 and 18 at Limassol\u2019s Carob Mill. The two-day event, which drew more than 550 people from business, investment and academic fields worldwide, provided insight into clean-tech future, unveiled new trends, and presented the next generation of successful start-ups. Attendees were given the chance to enjoy fresh, innovative and promising ideas from competing start-ups, lectures by prominent professionals, expert workshops, and networking sessions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kenya\u2019s Bio Alkanol Gel<\/strong>\u00a0team was crowned victorious, winning a \u20ac10.000 monetary prize!<\/p>\n<p><strong>ClimateLaunchpad<\/strong>, which focuses on mitigating and adapting to climate change, is a programme by Climate-KIC, Europe\u2019s largest public-private innovation partnership. This year, 964 start-ups from 35 countries submitted their green business ideas, with 105 of them selected to pitch their idea in the Grand Final, which was organized and hosted by Chrysalis LEAP, and co-organized by the Cyprus Investment Promotion Agency (CIPA).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Another WIN for our team Grow Green!
