Ignium<\/em>, the mini-company that represented Cyprus at the JA European \u201cCompany of the Year\u201d Competition<\/strong>, held between 25\u00a0<\/strong>and 28 July 2016<\/strong>\u00a0in Lucerne, Switzerland, garnered warm applause from the audience.\u00a0Over 200 students gathered to celebrate the top 36 student companies from across Europe, that competed as part of JA Europe\u2019s flagship JA Company Programme.<\/p>\n

SubReader<\/strong>, the student-company from Denmark<\/em>, strongly impressed the jury with their strong business concept and were crowned the winners. Their app helps dyslexic people to read subtitles on international TV and movies aloud. It operates independently of TV or other media and does even not require any setup.\u00a0The 2nd<\/sup> place was awarded to the student-company from Slovakia<\/em>, Irdify<\/strong>, while the performance by Enlighten Hope<\/strong>, <\/em>the student-company from the UK<\/em>, secured them 3rd<\/sup> place.<\/p>\n
