{"id":282,"date":"2014-12-08T09:00:53","date_gmt":"2014-12-08T09:00:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wordpress3\/?p=282"},"modified":"2014-12-16T07:21:42","modified_gmt":"2014-12-16T07:21:42","slug":"companyprogramme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jacyprus.org\/en\/companyprogramme\/","title":{"rendered":"JA Cyprus has launched the second year of its signature \u2018Company Programme\u2019 to high schools across the island."},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><strong><span class=\"s1\">JA Cyprus has launched the second year of its signature \u2018Company Programme\u2019 to high schools across the island.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Through the Company Programme, students learn how to take a business idea from concept to reality by forming a real enterprise and discovering firsthand how a company functions. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Last school year, 25 student companies proudly presented their products and services during the first Company of the Year Competition.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>In total, 199 students successfully completed and graduated from the programme and the winning team, Stay Safe Security Solutions, a 15-member student team from Paralimni, represented Cyprus in the European Competition that was held in Estonia between 22-25 July, 2014.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>To get a glimpse of the Cyprus Competition have a look at:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=DZLF401DKA4\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=DZLF401DKA4<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The programme this year has kicked off with the teachers training that was held on the 8<\/span><span class=\"s2\"><sup>th<\/sup><\/span><span class=\"s1\"> of October<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>and then followed by the business mentors\u2019 training held on the 29<\/span><span class=\"s2\"><sup>th<\/sup><\/span><span class=\"s1\"> of October, 2014. There are currently 21 high schools that have registered in Cyprus to participate in the programme for the year 2014-2015. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">In this Programme upper secondary schools (Lycea, Private schools and Vocational Schools) from across the country are called to participate by naming the teachers that wish to participate in the programme.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>JA Cyprus has launched the second year of its signature \u2018Company Programme\u2019 to high schools across the island.
