{"id":237,"date":"2014-11-28T09:00:30","date_gmt":"2014-11-28T09:00:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wordpress3\/?p=237"},"modified":"2014-12-19T09:14:12","modified_gmt":"2014-12-19T09:14:12","slug":"jacksonville","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jacyprus.org\/en\/jacksonville\/","title":{"rendered":"JA Cyprus CEO, speaks to the teenagers of Jacksonville, Florida at the Going Global Summit"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Going Global Summit, which took place on the 6<\/span><span class=\"s3\"><sup>th<\/sup><\/span><span class=\"s1\"> of November, 2014 is a day-long annual event aiming at inspiring and educating the next generation of Jacksonville to create a better world by exposing them to the realities of the global marketplace.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">Eloiza visited Jacksonville Florida during her participation in the \u2018International Visitors Leadership Programme\u2019 organised by the US State Department on the topic of \u2018entrepreneurship and innovation\u2019.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">The\u00a0International Visitor Leadership Program\u00a0(IVLP) is a professional\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/United_States_Cultural_Exchange_Programs\">exchange program<\/a>\u00a0funded by the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/U.S._Department_of_State\">U.S. Department of State<\/a>&#8216;s\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Bureau_of_Educational_and_Cultural_Affairs\">Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs<\/a>. The mission of IVLP is to offer current and emerging international leaders the opportunity to experience the richness and diversity of American political, economic, social and cultural life through carefully designed exchanges that reflect participants\u2019 professional interests and the public diplomacy objectives of the United States government.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">The exchange brings up to 5,000 professional emerging leaders from around the world to the United States each year for programs of up to three weeks.
