Marking the Transition to the \u2018\u2019Test & Development\u2019\u2019 Phase<\/strong><\/p>\n The Beyond Pitching Day<\/strong>, held on the 4th of February at the Novartis Cyprus premises<\/strong>, marked an important milestone in the programme, as teams concluded the Educational Phase<\/strong> and presented their healthcare business ideas<\/strong> to a distinguished jury committee.<\/p>\n The jury committee featured esteemed professionals from various industries, including Jevgenija Kirillova \u2013 CFO Novartis Cyprus & Malta, \u00a0Andri Andreou \u2013 External Affairs Manager, Novartis Cyprus, Marilena Paraskeva \u2013 Head of the Funding Programmes Department, Research and Innovation Foundation, Petroula Gerasimou \u2013 Molecular Diagnostic Laboratory Supervisor, Karaiskakio Foundation, Michalis Strouthos \u2013 Co-Founder & CEO, Cocoon Creations & Crew, and George Pelekanos \u2013 Website Administrator, Marketing & CX, Bank of Cyprus.<\/p>\n After an inspiring round of pitches and valuable feedback from the jury committee, the teams have now advanced to the Test and Development Phase<\/strong>, where they will receive an initial funding<\/strong> to start building their Minimum Viable Product (MVP)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Beyond Pitching Day was a testament to the innovation, dedication, and entrepreneurial spirit of the participants. As teams enter the Test and Development Phase, they are one step closer to bringing their ideas to life. In this phase, with the support of Junior Achievement (JA) Cyprus, the focus will be on refining business models and developing prototypes.<\/p>\n The program is conducted with the sponsorship of Novartis Pharma Services Inc.
