The i-Days promote innovation in healthcare among university students through dozens of one- and two-day programmes taking place across Europe in October and November 2023. i-Days in Cyprus focuses on the challenges faced by oncology and cancer patients, thus the challenge of the two-day event will be innovation in areas related to cancer, such as Prevention, Early Diagnosis, Treatment, Rehabilitation, Data Collection and Analysis, Psychological Support, Reintegration, Palliative Care and Research.<\/p>\n<p><strong>JA Cyprus invites students to participate in an intensive two-day event on 21-22 October 2023 at Cleopatra Hotel in Nicosia<\/strong> <strong>(With free accommodation).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During this intensive two-day event, students of all levels (Bachelor, Master, PhD) are guided through the programme to develop their own business ideas in the healthcare sector, reaching up to the creation of a product in the simplest commercial form (Minimum Viable Product).\u00a0 Guided by experts, facilitators and coaches, participants refine their ideas and propose their solutions to a distinguished panel of judges.<\/p>\n<p>The knowledge, experiences and skills they will acquire through i-days are countless, since by the end of this program students<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>will acquire entrepreneurial skills by working in a team and develop a sustainable solution, which they will present on stage<\/li>\n<li>will gain the necessary tools to innovate with the help of experts coming from the Business, Health and IT industries<\/li>\n<li>will transform the healthcare industry by bringing solutions to today&#8217;s challenges<\/li>\n<li>will share the experience with participants from different disciplines and backgrounds<\/li>\n<li>They will join the JA and EIT alumni networks, and gain access to exclusive opportunities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The winning team of i-Days 2023 will travel to Barcelona, Spain to compete with all national winners across the continent and represent Cyprus in a high-level European competition!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Register <a href=\"https:\/\/fluxlearning.typeform.com\/to\/Xs6gNuwD?typeform-source=eithealth.eu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">HERE<\/a> until October 8, 2023.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Registrations will be per person and the teams will be created on the 1st day of the bootcamp.<\/p>\n<p>The project is organized by Junior Achievement Cyprus, funded by EIT Health, Novartis and the Research and Innovation Foundation and supported by the partner organizations: Cocoon Creations, CYENS Centre of Excellence, Cyprus Federation of Patients&#8217; Associations, Cyprus Oncology Society, Cyprus Seeds, Department of Business and Public Administration | University of Cyprus, Gravity Ventures, Idea Innovation Centre, Karaiskakio Foundation, Kinisis Ventures, The Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics.<\/p>\n<p>Junior Achievement Cyprus is a member of the global non-profit organization JA Worldwide and specializes in entrepreneurship, financial literacy and work readiness.<\/p>\n<p>More information can be found on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jacyprus.org\">www.jacyprus.org<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>For questions or more information, you can contact us at eleni.tovletian@jacyprus.org or by calling +357-99367808.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Junior Achievement Cyprus organizes for the second year the EIT Health i-Days 2023 in Nicosia, Cyprus.
