SUMMARY:Our Community
DESCRIPTION:Our Community programme is an interactive educational programme aimed at thrid-grade primary school students. The programme is approved by the Ministry of Education\, Culture\, Sports and Youth. It introduces students to the intersection of work readiness and early elementary grades social studies learning objectives\, including how citizens benefit from and contribute to a community’s success.Following participation in the program\, students can describe a community\, identify the variety of careers people have in a community and how each job requires specific skills\, identify how business and government jobs help a community to explain how taxation supports government services\, recognize voting as a way responsible citizens act and describe the flow of money in a community’s economy. The programme includes five modules lasting 45 minutes each. The sections are presented in class by one volunteer – from PwC with the support of the teacher.

SUMMARY:JA StartUp Programme – Finale and Awards Ceremony
DESCRIPTION:  \nThe JA StartUp Programme is an innovative educational programme which is implemented simultaneously in 500 universities across Europe\, yearly. The programme gives university students (18 to 30 years old) the opportunity to experience running their own company\, giving them an insight into how their talents could be used to set up a business for themselves. Students form teams of 3 to 5 members and for three months work on developing a business with the support of academics\, mentors and an online educational platform. At the end of the programme\, the 10 best teams across Cyprus present their businesses in the National Competition with a live audience and a jury committee. The winners represent Cyprus at Europe’s Largest Entrepreneurship Event\, Gen-E.

DESCRIPTION:Beyond Pre-Accelerator is an educational and practical programme aimed at helping participants go through the entire entrepreneurial process\, from generating business ideas related to healthcare to creating an MVP (minimum viable product). The Beyond Pre-Accelerator specifically focuses on challenges that oncology faces and aims to improve the below through driving innovations in: Prevention\, Early Diagnosis\, Treatment / Rehabilitation\, Psychological support etc. The programme finishes with a one-day event\, the Demo Day. During the Demo Day the five remaining teams present their businesses in front of an audience with the goal to expand their network and receive further opportunities to continue building their business and developing their product or service.

Το συνέδριο προσφέρει μια μοναδική ευκαιρία σε ακαδημαϊκούς\, εκπαιδευτικούς\, ερευνητές\, επιχειρηματίες και φοιτητές/τριες να παρουσιάσουν το έργο τους\, να ανταλλάξουν ιδέες και να δικτυωθούν για μελλοντικές συνεργασίες στον τομέα της επιχειρηματικής εκπαίδευσης.
