SUMMARY:More than Money
DESCRIPTION:More than Money programme is an interactive educational programme aimed at sixth-grade primary school students. It aims to familiarize students with concepts related to society and the economy\, such as money management\, savings\, business creation\, ethical decision-making in financial transactions and international trade. Students have the opportunity to develop entrepreneurial skills such as initiative\, self-sufficiency\, responsibility\, creativity\, collaboration and also to discuss their interests\, linking them to possible future professions in various fields. By playing games\, students understand the role of money in our lives and learn how to earn\, spend\, share and save money. The programme is offered through 5 teaching periods. Volunteers from the Banking and Business sector help participants understand how they can grow and manage their business.

SUMMARY:National Sci-Tech Challenge 2024
DESCRIPTION:  \n10 teams across Cyprus (1 team per participating school) will participate in National Sci-Tech Challenge. The national challenge will take place physically on the 17th of April 2024. The competition involves a challenge that will be presented at the beginning of the day; students will be asked to come up with solutions and present them by the end of the day. The team which will come up with the best solution will represent Cyprus to the European Sci-Tech Challenge. Dates for the European Sci-Tech Challenge to be determined (expected mid-May).
